He is scientifically concerned with the dynamics of escalation in conflicts between people and the ways out of these conflicts. He explores cultural differences, as well as the range of personal competencies that enable constructive dispute management. He is involved in simulations and designing tools that support organizations and individuals in effective conflict planning, including in areas of armed conflict. More recently, he has been researching climate security, with a particular focus on simulations of social processes and conflicts in this area.
She is a doctoral student at SWPS University, and has received fellowships from Columbia University and the Open Society Foundations. She has also received a Start FNP grant and a scholarship from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for outstanding young scientists. She has published in American Psychologist, Journal of Organizational Behaviour, Harvard Negotiation Journal, among others.
