He has several years of experience in implementing projects aimed at increasing the value of companies. He is an atypical financier - he spends more time dealing with marketing and sales people than with accountants. As he says - "The value of companies is created at the interface of marketing-sales-finance, and accounting only reflects something that has already happened."

Since 2017, he has served as Managing Partner at Private Venture Partners - a search fund that invests in Polish companies in cooperation with private investors (Business Angels). In one of them (Avenir Medical Poland Sp. z o.o.) he serves as a board member responsible for finance and M&A.

Marcin Slomski has extensive experience in corporate finance projects and M&A transactions. He has participated in more than 80 projects involving acquisitions, sales and mergers of companies, obtaining financing (IPO, bond issue, debt raising), debt restructuring, joint venture transactions. He has carried out projects for Polish and foreign companies both in the role of advisor (CET - Clairfield International), as well as in the function of financial director and controlling director. He has been working with ICAN Institute since 2014. He conducts classes and workshops focusing on topics related to finance, corporate value management, strategy, revenue management and pricing. He holds an international ACCA qualification and has studied at INSEAD (CGM'16 alumni), IE Business School (Private Equity and Venture Capital programs), Northwestern Kellogg School of Management (Professional Certificate in Digital Marketing).
