What challenges of managers the program responds to
ICAN NeuroManager™ will help you overcome the biggest pain points of leaders who often have to operate under pressure or in stressful situations.
1
The complexity of the world and the great uncertainty of what will happen tomorrowToday's challenges, such as the rapid pace of change, market volatility, and rapid development of technology, mean that leaders must operate under uncertainty and often make decisions without having all the information.
2
Lack of tools that correspond to new realitiesA manager can no longer rely solely on his intuition or traditional management methods, as the business world has become more unpredictable and new challenges have emerged that we are facing for the first time.
3
Managing yourself and your team under difficult circumstancesUncertainty and chaos weaken the team - its motivation, efficiency and trust. A leader must lead people through difficulties, but to do so, he must first take care of his own mental resilience.
4
Operating under pressure and high stressNowadays, a manager is at high risk of burnout. He is burdened with great responsibility for people, results and the future of the company. He needs to know how to deal with tension and regulate difficult emotions.
Applying neuroscience to management benefits the entire company

You will learn how the brain reacts to stress, pressure and uncertainty, and what activates "survival mode." You will learn about the neurobiological basis of stress, which will enable you to better cope with it and consciously develop your and your team's mental resilience. You'll get scientifically validated techniques for self-regulation and learn about the phenomenon of "emotional resonance," or how a leader influences the emotions and stress of a team. We will also discuss how to combine soft skills with technology and how AI-type tools affect the brain, decisions and team dynamics.
Tools and methods used in the course:
- MTQ mental toughness test
- SCARF™ Model (David Rock)
- Neurotechnologies of self-regulation
- AI-assisted decision mapping
- Case studies: adaptability in a digital world
Problem solving and decision making
You'll learn about critical thinking and the neuroscience of decisions and cognitive errors, so you can make better decisions and know when to trust your intuition and when not to. You'll learn about the most common managerial thinking errors (e.g. confirmation bias, overconfidence, anchoring) and how to avoid them. You'll also get methods for analyzing problems, moderating team decision-making, and building a culture of decisions based on facts, not beliefs.
Tools and methods used in the course:
- 5 Why's technique
- TRIZ - Theory of Solving Innovative Problems
- Problem Map / Root Cause Analysis
- Decision under pressure - Quick Assessment Checklist
- Facilitation of group decisions (Delphi method, structured voting)
Conflict resolution
You will learn about the biology of conflict, i.e. how stress, threat and competition affect brain responses. You'll get tools for mapping conflict and diagnosing the source of tension. Experts will also show you how our thought patterns and biases exacerbate the problem, and how you can guard against it. You will learn how to use empathy and neural synchronization to "disarm" the interlocutor and change the course of the conversation (from conflict to constructive dialogue). You will learn about conflict resolution styles and identify your style along with its effects.
Tools and methods used in the course:
- Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI).
- Analysis of personal tendencies: conflict styles test
- The 3R Tool - Reaction, Reality, Relationship
- Facilitation of a conflict conversation
- Neurotechnologies of empathetic communication
Managerial negotiations
In this session, you will develop negotiation skills and receive a toolkit that will allow you to better prepare for talks, control your emotions and reach agreement. You will learn how stress affects perception, decisions and behavior during negotiations, and receive techniques for emotional self-regulation. You will learn about different negotiation models (Harvard, win-win, BATNA) and their practical application in discussions with your team, superiors and external partners. Experts will also show you a good strategy for preparing for negotiations and analyzing the analysis of interests, options, arguments and mental traps.
Tools and methods used in the course:
- BATNA (Best Alternative To a Negotiated Agreement).
- The Harvard model - interest-based negotiation
- Negotiation simulations with feedback
- Negotiator's checklist
Managing change and building team resilience
You will discover why the brain doesn't like change and the basis of resistance in light of neuroscience. You will learn about the change curve, i.e. how people react to change and how you can guide through the stages of adaptation. You will learn how to minimize resistance and engage your team in change. Today's business environment is highly uncertain, so in this session we will discuss how to foster anti-mobility and build teams that are resilient to crisis and cognitive overload. You will learn practical examples of transforming teams under uncertainty.
Tools and methods used in the course:
- Kubler-Ross change curve
- Resistance map - diagnosing the causes of resistance
- Toolbox of a change facilitator
- Transformational Retrospective
- Measuring psychological safety
