Member of the supervisory boards of companies: Bank BPH (chairman of the board), Internet Media Services, Cardif Polska and XTPL, and advisor to Rothschild Bank. He also holds the position of member of the Good Practices Committee and chairman of the board of the Polish Institute of Directors.

He is co-founder and long-time chairman of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. He has also served as advisor to the Minister of Finance and director of the capital market development department at the Ministry of Ownership Transformation, member of the Securities Commission and chairman of the Supervisory Boards of the WSE and NDS.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Trade at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGPiS), holds a PhD in economic geography and is a British Council Fellow at the London School of Economics.
