Executives - who are they and what do they do?

Executives (a.k.a. managers or executives) are all individuals who act as supervisors and head the company's organizational units, such as a team or department. They are responsible for organizing and coordinating the work of the team and its members, as well as setting goals and achieving them. Executives are divided by management level(s) into lower-level, middle-level and top-level managers.


What kind of training for executives?

Our training courses for managers are diversified in terms of level and subject matter. We have training courses that prepare you for the role of a manager and develop the competencies of more experienced managers who want to approach team and company management in a holistic way.

Our management training courses discuss and teach in practice such issues as:

How to choose training for executives?

When choosing a management training course, there are several important issues to consider. First, the person's experience and what stage in his career he is at - is he a novice manager or has he been managing human resources for a long time? The second issue is the management level and responsibilities of the manager. How large a team does he manage? How important to the functioning of the organization are the processes, areas and projects he is responsible for? The third equally important aspect is to determine what competencies are desired in a manager and where the manager's strengths/weaknesses lie. In determining development needs, it will be useful to have the support of the HR department, which will help develop a development path and select the appropriate training for the executive. It is worth using diagnostic tools that can verify, among other things, competency gaps, management style, communication, the level of motivation and effectiveness of the team or the effectiveness of managers.


Location and schedule of management training courses

Trainings are held in Poland's largest cities: in Warsaw, Wroclaw, Krakow, Poznan and Gdansk. Warsaw groups have classes at ICAN Institute headquarters near the Wilanowska Metro station. Convenient locations in large cities make it easier for executives to get to and participate in training. That's shorter travel time and lower costs!

In addition, classes are held in two-day sessions once a month on Wednesday-Thursday or Friday-Saturday. It is also possible to make up classes at other times, so that participants can easily balance development with their professional obligations.
