What sets ICAN Management™ apart from other training courses

See for yourself which is the better choice if you care about practical development and real results.

MBA
Prestigious but long, expensive and often too theoretical. ICAN Management™ is shorter and more flexible in its formula.

Typical training
Focuses on only one area (e.g. HR, sales, finance). Our program allows you to look holistically at your company.

Short courses
Often online. Flexible, but devoid of interaction. The participant does not work in a group and does not get feedback from the instructor.

I have been using ICAN Institute's services for over twenty years. I am one of the first graduates of the Management™ program in Poland. My company TIM SA. has grown significantly since my participation in this program and is today a listed company. Growth requires the right managers. That's why I have been sending my managers to ICAN programs at various levels for years. As a graduate, I especially recommend the Management™ program, which addresses the needs and challenges of business practitioners!

The Management™ program is heavily tool-based. Its practicality can be evidenced by the fact that shortly after completing it, I already had the opportunity to use the tools I learned during the sessions, including the recruitment guide. I would definitely recommend this program to any manager at any level of their career, not only to learn something new, but also to share their knowledge with others.

Management™ helped me to look at professional challenges in a completely different way. The friendly atmosphere during the classes, great instructors and valuable content delivered in an accessible way made it easy to assimilate extremely practical knowledge. Constant references to real business situations illuminated important issues in communication, negotiation or decision-making for me. Many of the suggestions and tips I heard accompany me to this day in my daily work.

By the time I got to Management™, I had completed several postgraduate courses and an MBA. However, I lacked a "buckle" that tied together all the knowledge I had learned. The ICAN Institute program helped me a lot in this regard, as it taught me how to apply the knowledge I had gained. I would recommend participation to any manager who wants to be a better leader. In addition to solid knowledge and skills, this program gives you something else invaluable: the opportunity for self-reflection and analysis of what and how you can improve in the way you manage.

There are many courses that can be useful for managers, and their choice depends on the specific industry you work in, as well as your individual skills, position, stage in your career and career plans.

In the work of a manager, valued competencies are those related to human resources and project management, communication or budgeting. If you are taking your first steps in a leadership career or thinking about promotion, we especially recommend training courses for novice managers that will bring you closer to the profession and teach you the basics about the role, tasks and specifics of a manager's work. Below you will find some recommendations of managerial courses:

Before choosing a managerial training course, it's a good idea to first think about which area you want to develop in and which managerial competencies will be useful in your situation. You can do an analysis of your strengths and weaknesses, consult your superiors, mentors or HR department to determine the direction of your professional development and choose the right managerial courses. It's important that the training meets both your needs as a leader and those of the organization in which you work.

Management training brings many benefits to both the manager himself and the organization. The manager acquires the competencies necessary to do his job and achieve good results. With preparation, he can meet professional challenges, which reduces stress, frustration and the risk of burnout. Managerial courses also allow the manager to increase his self-awareness, such as analyzing his strengths and weaknesses and working on them.

In turn, the company gains a qualified employee, which ensures better implementation of the organization's strategy and goals. Purchasing training for a manager is also a way to appreciate the employee and increase his loyalty to the organization. Properly trained managers also reduce the risk of mistakes and misguided decisions that could have negative consequences, such as financial or employees leaving incompetent managers.

Managers interested in development can take advantage of various forms of training to gain the necessary competencies. ICAN offers condensed online managerial courses that you can do at your own pace (duration about 2-3 hours), as well as on-site certified managerial training courses (duration from 5 to 12 months). If you prefer a workshop focusing on a specific topic of your choice, you can buy a single session from a managerial training course.
