From waste to value: is closed loop the new foundation for competitiveness?
Can waste become a strategic resource? In an era of rising raw material costs, regulatory pressures and consumer expectations, companies are looking for new sources of advantage. The closed-loop economy is no longer just an eco-trend - it's a model that can increase efficiency, strengthen brands and open the door to innovation.
In the debate, we will talk about how to turn waste into added value, how to design products with circulation in mind, and how to build business models that pay off for both the environment and the market. We will ask industry leaders: is GOZ the choice of idealists or a hard strategy for the future?

GS1 Poland is part of the international not-for-profit organization GS1, which has been developing the world's most widely used standards system for more than 50 years. The most well-known GS1 standard is the barcodes currently used around the world and scanned 10 billion times a day.
The standards developed by GS1 enable companies to identify, collect and share information on products (GTIN), locations (GLN), logistics units (SSCC), among others, throughout the supply chain. They are used in commerce, e-commerce, logistics, construction and healthcare, among others. GS1 standards help organizations operate more efficiently, securely and sustainably.
GS1 has local member organizations in 118 countries and has more than 2 million GS1 System Participants, including more than 47,000 in Poland.
